District's best competitors target champs

The Wanganui Archery Club played host to 32 archers on Saturday for the 2015 WAA District Target and Clout Championships, with 17 backing up the next day for clout rounds.

There were a number of good performances across both the disciplines at the regional tournament.

Saturday's events were at targets of 50, 60m and 70m at the club's home at Wembley Park, while Sunday's clout shooting was over the longer 185m distances on the fields of Cullinane College.
