The Ministry of Health reported 97 new community cases of Covid-19 today. Photo / Bevan Conley

There are 97 new community cases of Covid-19 in the Whanganui region, the Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday.

The ministry also reported there is one person with Covid-19 in Whanganui Hospital.

Nationally, there were 9173 new community cases of Covid-19.

Of those, 385 people were in the hospital.

Another 14 people have died with Covid-19.
