There are 93 new community cases of Covid-19 in the Whanganui region, according to the Ministry of Health.

The ministry also reported on Monday there was one person in Whanganui Hospital with Covid-19.

Nationally, the ministry reported 7061 new community cases.

Of those cases, 415 cases were in the hospital.

The ministry reported on Monday that five more people had died with Covid-19.
