There were 91 new cases of Covid-19 in the Whanganui region, according to the Ministry of Health. Photo / Bevan Conley

The Whanganui region has 91 new community cases of Covid-19.

The Ministry of Health also reported on Thursday there were five people in Whanganui Hospital with Covid-19.

Nationally the ministry reported 7591 new community cases and 355 people in hospital with Covid-19.

The ministry also reported the deaths of 16 people with Covid-19.
