There were 100 new community cases of Covid-19 recorded in the Whanganui region, the Ministry of Health reported on Wednesday.
Eight people were in Whanganui Hospital with Covid-19.
Nationally, there were 6440 new community cases.
Throughout the country, there were 704 people in hospital with the virus.
