Circus ticket winners
Winners in the Chronicle's circus ticket giveaway were drawn yesterday. They are: Pau Malo, Jarrod Hook, Jo Laird, Gwen Burnett, Polly Milnes, Tina Schurhammer, Lyn Steele, Daniel McMillan, C Mutimer and Ray Foster. Each receives a double pass. Tickets can be collected from the Chrtonicle office in Guyton

Fabulous fashion
Hospice Whanganui is inviting the public to the unveiling of 10 donated wedding gowns which have been re-fashioned - re-imagined, even - by UCOL design students. The result is fabulous gowns, fit for any blushing bride. The event is on Thursday from 5.30pm, at the UCOL atrium at 16 Rutland St. Entry by donation.

Future of farming
Will protein from plants mean an end to animal farming? Researcher Allan Hardacre will talk about protein and the future of farming at the Whanganui Science Forum at 7.30pm today at the Davis Lecture Theatre, Whanganui Regional Museum. The cost is $4 for forum members and $5 for non-members.

Hone digital skills
#BoostYourTown Whanganui, a free digital skills workshop, is on from 4pm to 6pm on Thursday, at Hive & Co. Whanganui Chamber of Commerce, AboutUs and Facebook are bringing the workshop to Whanganui. Participants will learn the basics of getting their business on Facebook and Instagram. Registrations are essential. Book at www.eventbrite.co.nz
