There were pirates, pickles, plants, produce and fun and games aplenty at St Anthony's School Gala on Saturday.
School parent Indy Magnoli supplied costumes and pirate-themed stage shows with photo opportunities between performances.
School secretary Jo Tangira said money raised from the gala will help towards the cost of aschool playground upgrade and the establishment of a library.
"Now that senior classrooms have been upgraded, we want to do something for the little ones."
She said there may have been around 700 visitors to the annual Easter Week Gala, which is fewer than previous years.
