The fuel shortage at Auckland Airport will not affect Air Chathams' Whanganui flights.
In a statement on their Facebook page, Air Chathams said the fuel shortage did not affect the airline as it was able to access fuel from other airports.
"Should we foresee any disruptions to our scheduled flights, our customer service team will be sure to let the passengers know," the statement said.
Air Chathams has several flights a day between Whanganui and Auckland.
A 168km-long pipeline, carrying jet fuel, petrol and diesel directly from the oil refinery at Marsden Point in Northland to tanks in south Auckland, has been out of action since Thursday afternoon after it was damaged, apparently by a digger.
