It wasn't a record breaker but yesterday was still a very frosty morning for Wanganui.
Georgina Griffiths from MetService said the temperature at Wanganui Airport yesterday dipped as low as -0.4C, the second morning in a row that Wanganui's air temperature has fallen below zero.
On Monday morning the temperature reached as low as -1.6C - the fourth coldest temperature ever recorded in Wanganui.
The temperature was much colder further inland, with Aramoho resident Peter Hardy reporting an icy -4C at his houseyesterday.
Ms Griffiths said there was good and bad news for Wanganui's weather for the rest of theweek.
