Waikato Feast Week is coming to town this Easter as neighbouring businesses Paper Plus and Red Kitchen team up for a new free public event aimed at putting Te Awamutu back on the map as a food destination.
Stalls will be set up on the footpath on Mahoe St outside Red Kitchen and Paper Plus carpark with a range of foodie related items.
Paper Plus Te Awamutu is running a Cookbook Buy-Sell-Swap.
There will be tables of pre-loved cookbooks for sale or to swap, as well as tables with new cookbooks.

Advertise with NZME.If swappers can't find a second-hand book they want they can swap for a voucher for 20 per cent on the day discount off a new, full-priced cookbook.
At the end of the event any pre-loved books not swapped or sold will be donated to the Rotary Book Fair.
Red Kitchen will be displaying and selling a range of table and kitchenware.
Joining in the fun will be the popular Duck Island Icecream truck.
Two local schools, Puahue and Te Pahū, will also have stands promoting their cookbook fundraisers.
The cookbooks feature tried and true recipes from locals from the school communities, plus celebrities.
Te Awamutu's Waikato Feast Week event runs from 9am-1pm and everyone is we come.
