"Sport Bay of Plenty provided a wide range of opportunities and incentives for those in the region to participate in sports-related activities for their physical and emotional benefit, and I am a great advocate of this," he said.
With an extensive sporting competition and governance background, and a special interest in disability sports through his role as chairman and president of Paralympics New Zealand, Copeland said he was looking forward to contributing to the organisation to ensure all Kiwis remain as physically active and involved as is possible.
Tisch is actively involved in a variety of sports, including representing New Zealand in the Long Distance Triathlon World Championship Age Group team.
She said she was motivated to use her governance experience and skills as a lawyer to contribute to the board.
Tisch has three teenage children who all participate in sport and exercise along with her husband, who is a cardiologist, so as a family they are all well aware of the health benefits of an active lifestyle.
She recently won her age group in the Port of Tauranga Half.
Sport Bay of Plenty has a mandate to get more people, more active, more often.
