The two undefeated sides in the Baywide premier rugby competition will meet in Te Puke this weekend.
Te Puke Sports and Tauranga Sports are runaway leaders in the premier grade and will meet tomorrow at Murray Salt Stadium, with only two rounds left to go before the semifinals.
Te Pukewill be playing in a pink strip in support of women with breast cancer. All proceeds from the gates will go to Tauranga Breast Cancer Support Services.
Te Puke Sports coach Craig Jeffries said his team had been playing well, having won all their games so far, but they would have to really step up to beat Tauranga.
"We have been building quite nicely and cruising along doing our thing. I think it is a pretty good position for us to be in.
"However, it is a whole new level we need to step up to, to get close to Tauranga this weekend. The added pressure of the Jordan Cup, ability to host the final, as well as the Breast Cancer Awareness Day. We just need to keep our head down this week and not get to caught up with it, but it will be hard not to."
