Tauranga Sports clinched their seventh bayfair Baywide Premier club rugby title with a well deserved 26-14 victory over Te Puke Sports in Te Puke today.

Tauranga scored three tries, through flying winger Jason Harvey, who crossed for two, and centre Nick Evemy, to one from Te Puke winger Curtis Deane.

In the Division One final played at Centennial Park in Te Puke, Arataki upset the form book to beat home team Rangiuru 14-9 and gain promotion to the Premier division next year.

Te Puke Sports won a tight Development final 16-13 over Tauranga Sports.
