Bay of Plenty Indians Sports will be looking to beat Tauranga Boys' College at Nicholson Field tomorrow and cement a place in the top four.

Two former Western Bay reserve grade players in Parry Kulaar and GS Gargan have stepped up to the mark for Indian Sports and are the Rotorua club's two leading run scorers. There could be a battle of attrition between Mount Maunganui and Bayleys Central at Blake Park

The Mount team sit at the bottom of the standings, without a Baywide Cup victory, but there is still plenty of firepower in their ranks. However, the Rotorua visitors love nothing better than to lower the colours of a Western Bay team and won't lack motivation for victory.

The two undefeated teams left in the Baywide Cup will go head to head this weekend in Te Puke.

Undefeated sides Te Puke and Greerton will play tomorrow, with the winner almost certainly booking a place in the Baywide Cup final on December 19.

While Greerton currently sit behind Te Puke and Otumoetai Cadets in the standings, they have sat out the bye round, with the other two contenders byes to come.

Te Puke have beaten Central, Tauranga Boys' College, BOP Indian Sports and Mount Maunganui, while Greerton have got past Indian Sports, Mount Maunganui and Cadets in the 2015 Baywide Cup title race.

Te Puke captain Stephen Crossan said: "We have had a number of youngsters join our team this season, with Tom Wakelin, Jonty Grigson and Christian MacDonald performing with maturity beyond their years.

"We have won four from four, from concentrating on our performances and standards, with our approach to the Greerton game the same of control the controllables.

"Te Puke Domain is a place of pride and history for the Te Puke Cricket Club and we will defend our patch with everything we have."

Greerton skipper Shane Wineti said it would be a tough match. "Our side expects a high quality match, both teams are in form and with top quality players throughout each side, we are expecting an excellent contest."
