All is not well in the Pikiao Warriors camp as they suffered their fifth loss in a row in the Waicoa Bay Premiership.

They lost 32-22 away to league strugglers United in round 16 of the competition on Saturday.

There are just two more rounds left this season before semifinals start, and Pikiao must face tricky opposition against Turangawaewae and Taupo Phoenix in their remaining fixtures.

"We can still have a positive end to the season," said Pikiao manager Henry Lingman.

"The side have suffered some knock backs but we have enough quality in the side to pick ourselves up."

Meanwhile, Ngongotaha Chiefs had a bye this weekend and will look to continue their recent good run of form when they face Otumoetai Eels and Pacific Sharks in their final two games.

"We've built up some good momentum over the past few weeks and our result shows we can beat any of the top teams, said Ngongotaha manager Andrew Taylor.

"We are in a great position and I want us to win all of our remaining games.

"All I can ask of the players is to play their hearts out in the last remaining fixtures."
