"But they are one of the best defensive teams in the league and will be very difficult to break down.
"But I'm glad we have a difficult game because I don't want our standard of play to drop off. It will prepare us well for the play-offs.
"We feel confident coming into the game but we started off a bit slow in our last match which I don't want to see happen again. We will be ready from the off."
Striker Mitchell Miller has been leading the way in front of goal for his side, having scored close to 50 goals this season - including nine in one game.
He is both his team's and WaiBOP Premiership's top scorer for 2016.
Ngongotaha coach Shane Davis praised his team's "attacking mentality" and is confident they will reach the century of goals but insists players must stay focused against "tricky" opposition.
"We have been excellent in front of goal all season and I expect this to continue in our last two games," he said.
"But Otumoetai will battle hard and so we have to be patient. They are a frustrating sort of team so we have to make sure our communication and movement is good.
"Miller has been in great form but all over the park players have been popping up with goals and creating chances. I can't remember such a prolific season in our history."
Ngongotaha have one remaining fixture against third placed Matamata Swifts away after this weekend, who are tied in second place with Cambridge FC on 44 points.
And the Villagers have already lined up an opportunity to clinch a place in the Northern League next year via a post-season playoff series with the team that finishes second in the Auckland league.
Ngongotaha AFC v Otumoetai FC, Fergusson Park 1 , 2.45pm.
