Rotorua and Taupo club cricket sides face off against each other in an intriguing inter-region derby in the fourth round of the senior reserve competition.
Match of the day will be the top of the table clash between Geyser 1 and current champions Taupo Wanderers at Taupo.
Geyser captain Matt Collie is confident his team are up to the task of taking quick wickets and putting early pressure on the well-performed home side.
"I think we can back our players all the way and we are really determined to win this one," Collier said.
The grass wicket at Owen Delany Park will favour the strong Rotorua side, who pride themselves on a competent bowling attack led by two sets of siblings - Matt and Jono Collie, and Matt and Hayden Mitchell.
The quartet have been ably backed up by young schoolboy Sam Murdoch this season.
Geyser opening batsmen Matt Mitchell and Karl McKnight would also look to put early runs on the board, Collie said.
In other games, John Paul College host Taupo Old Boys at Smallbone Park, while Bay of Plenty Indians host Taupo College at Boord Park. Geyser 2 have had their game against Taupo Indians forfeited, while EP will play the Crossover team, and Central have the bye.
Round Four draw is: Taupo Old Boys vs JPC, Smallbone; Wanderers vs Geyser 1, Owen Delaney 2; Geyser 2 vs Taupo Indians, forfeited; BOP Indians vs Taupo College, Boord 3; Central bye; Crossover vs EP, Boord 1.
