Western Heights High School will host Bethlehem College in one semi-final of the 1st XV division one secondary schools competition on Saturday.
Western Heights have completed a perfect seven from seven pool round and have locked the Te Kani Shield away for the season.
Bethlehem College is a team on the rise and has finished the season in good form to earn their semi-final spot. Since their loss in the pool round Bethlehem has developed a stronger defensive pattern allowing them to exploit counter attack opportunities created through turnover ball.
With a strong set piece and mobile forward pack Bethlehem need to play a quick mobile game to upset the number one ranked team in the competition.
Te Whare Kura O Mauao will host Trident High School in the other semi-final.
