The Daily Post reporter Gary Hamilton-Irvine gives his top picks for Round 10 of the NRL.

Warriors v Roosters, tomorrow:

Jerome Ropati signs for another year and picks up where he left off against the Broncos at fullback. He seems good there. He brings a presence, a real sense
of calmness to the position which makes me, his fans and his teammates feel as safe as a pillow. I'll digress. This rivalry is always a good one with some classics played over the years. There was a 31-all draw battled out a few years back, a grand final and a classic comeback win in 2009 which ended with a Stacey Jones' field goal. Roosters' Anthony Minichiello is playing as good as I've seen him and Mitchell Pearce is making some touches that remind me of a magician. Warriors should be too good though.

Warriors, 12-under.

Brisbane v Manly, tonight:

What a showdown at Suncorp this promises to be. Both clubs have fingers and toes in the State of Origin player pool and there is a lot to be gained for players from both clubs in this one. Though it would be hard to see George Rose pull on the NSW jumper, because of talent, his teammates will want to give him a hundredth game to remember.

Brisbane, 12-under.

Bulldogs v Titans, tonight:

The poor old Titans just missed getting their season back on track with a one-point loss to the Tigers last week. Jamal Idris could be in with a State of Origin shout with teams named at the end of the round. The Bulldogs should be too strong for the Titans though, they are a classy outfit with a forward pack that likes to throw the ball around making things tough for any defence.

Bulldogs, 12-under.

Knights v Cowboys, tomorrow:

The Cowboys' star prop Matt Scott returns for the Cowboys this weekend - a bonus for the team after a memorable thrashing of the Dragons last weekend. But sneaky utility James Segeyaro is out for a week which is more of a loss than most would think. Ashley Graham could be a shock call-up for the Queensland wing with a good showing here. The Knights were disappointing last week and should lose this week if that was any indicator of where they are at.

Cowboys, 12-under.

Raiders v Eels, Sunday:

To compound the Eels' woes, Parramatta have not won in their nation's capital since 2006. The Raiders almost pulled out a hard-fought win against the Sea Eagles last week and are clear favourites here. This fullback versus fullback match up can not get any better though. The game organisers should consider changing the event name to 'Josh Dugan versus Jarryd Hayne', because for 80 minutes that is all Ricky Stuart and the rest of the NSW supporters will be watching.

Raiders, 12-under.

Sharks v Storm, Sunday:

Who knows where the season could go for the Sharks? If they can hold on to third place over the origin period, and kick on later in the season, this might just be the fairy tale year for Cronulla. Big call, but that club is more hungry for a premiership than George Rose is for lunch. The club has been in the competition for 45 years, played in three grand finals but never winning the comp. Todd Carney is dead set the best passer of the ball that I've ever seen. Storm might be stopped here if Paul Gallen shakes his injury and takes the field.

Sharks, 12-under.

Panthers v Dragons, Monday:

Michael Jennings has been dropped for this one and I can not see things getting much better for the Panthers. The young Kiwi Nafe Seluini should get a run with the Panthers again soon - he was a shining light for them last year speeding things up around the ruck. In terms of the Dragons, another poor showing from them last weekend and who knows where they will end up after a few more games? Good one week, pitiful another. Just an average Monday night game really.

Dragons, 12-under.

Byes: Tigers, Rabbitohs.
