THE winter football season is coming to an end but the games don't stop.

Along with all the end-of-season tournaments and prize-givings we have a full summer of top-level football to look forward to.

The WaiBOP region is represented in the ASB Premiership and ASB Youth League by WaiBOP United and in the ASB Women's League by WaiBOP Football.

The youth and women's leagues run from October to December, while the ASB Premiership kicks off in early November and finishes in March 2015.

WaiBOP United is playing three ASB Premiership games in the Bay of Plenty this summer.

We host Wanderers SC on November 22 and Waitakere United on December 6, both at Links Ave, Mt Maunganui, before heading to Rotorua International Stadium on December 20 for a match against Hawke's Bay United. We hope to see you at a game.

You can win your club an impressive cash windfall while helping support WaiBOP United.

We're looking for 100 businesses, organisations or individuals to join the WaiBOP United 100 Club.

With the help of the Waikato and Bay of Plenty's football community we can make this work and we're offering an amazing incentive. You can find out more at www.waibopunited.co.nz.

We have just seen the NZCT AIMS Games play out in Tauranga. More than 1100 footballers in 80 teams from across the country took part in this huge annual tournament.

In just a short space of time the NZCT AIMS Games has come to represent the pinnacle for middle school sport in this country and that includes football. Congratulations to everyone from our region who took part and a huge "well done" to the organisers.

The Fifa U20 World Cup is coming to New Zealand in May, with games in the WaiBOP region.

Fifa is holding 100 of Waikato Stadium's best available seats for each club, but they can only be held until September 30.

For every venue pack sold 5 per cent cash goes back to the clubs. So don't miss this one chance to get along to New Zealand's largest ever football party. Join now at www.fifau20.co.nz/clubbooking.

To keep in touch with everything that's happening in our region I'd encourage you to visit our website regularly: www.waibopfootball.co.nz.
