The Ngongotaha senior football team will pile into vehicles tomorrow and head for Auckland to pursue Chatham Cup glory.

Round one of the 2015 Chatham Cup will be held this weekend across New Zealand.

Ngongotaha thumped Auckland's Colo Boys FC 17-0 at Stembridge Rd last month to qualify for round one of the cup.

The Chatham Cup is New Zealand's premier knockout football tournament and is contested by the best club teams in the country.

Ngongotaha have been drawn away against Bucklands Beach and will play their match at Rogers Park at 2pm tomorrow.

Eight other teams from the Waikato Bay of Plenty region will also contest Chatham Cup round one matches tomorrow and Sunday.

Albany United hosts Kawerau Sports, Glen Eden United hosts Tauranga City United, Matamata Swifts hosts Waiuku, Ngaruawahia United hosts Mt Albert Ponsonby, Te Puke United hosts Onehunga Mangere United, Otumoetai FC hosts Hibiscus Coast, Te Atatu hosts Claudelands Rovers, and Mangere United hosts Waikato Unicol.

In the WaiBOP Premiership tomorrow, Rotorua United will go in search of their second win when they visit Katikati. Both teams were promoted from the Championship last year.
