Graham Orr collected his 10th Bay title as his family won the Bay of Plenty Champion of Champion Triples at Ngongotaha Stadium on Sunday.

The Awakeri Team of Graham, Merleen and Thomas Orr edged Taupo Cossie's Allan Reid, Joan Guy and Mark Shaw 7-5 in a close final.

Victory gave Graham Orr yet another Bay of Plenty title and and Thomas Orr his fourth Bay title.

After the qualifying games nine teams made post-section play with five or more points.

Awakeri played Westbrook's Derek Owen, Pat Callaghan and Carla Owen while the rest of the teams had a bye. The Orrs won this game and then defeated Rotorua RSA in their next match.

Next Sunday the Championship Pairs will be in the Whakatane Hall.

Barry McCleod, the Bay of Plenty winner of the Henselite Singles, will travel to Upper Hutt to play in the New Zealand final of this event on Saturday.
