Rotorua cricketer Alastair Blackett made a stunning entrance at the ND One-Day tournament in December and tomorrow he will be back on duty for the Bay of Plenty development team.
In his December appearance against Hamilton, Blackett grabbed six wickets, as the Bay side swept into the title decider with four wickets to spare.
The Bay of Plenty Development team travel to Cambridge to play their last game of the Basil McBurney Trophy. They are skippered by Te Puke captain Stephen Crossan.
Bay of Plenty enter the last round of the ND Development competition tied at the top of the standings with Northland, with victory at the Cambridge Square likely to give them at least a share of the ND title.
Meanwhile the first round of the BOPCA McNaughton trophy kicks off in Tauranga, with Geyser Sports taking on the only B Grade side in the competition, Grasshoppers, in one of the three games at Fergusson Park.
