Rotorua building consent numbers down

In the nine months to the end of March the council's Building Services department passed 1051 building consents valued at $67,427,266.

This was down from 1595 in the same period last year and 1083 consents passed in the 2009/10 financial year.

Of those consents 73 were for new dwellings with a combined value of $19,736,753.
