A 1-year-old boy fell out of a car window in the Bay of Plenty yesterday.
The Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter flew the boy from Te Kaha to Whakatane Hospital at 6pm yesterday.
The car was not moving at the time and the boy suffered a moderate head injury.
His motherflew with him to the hospital.
The Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter also transferred a critically ill man who required urgent specialist care from Whakatane to Tauranga Hospital yesterday.
