Woman kicked by horse

A woman was flown to Rotorua Hospital after being kicked by a horse on Sunday.
The Taupo-based Youthtown Rescue Helicopter was called about midday on Sunday to take the Taupo woman to hospital.
The woman was part of a group which was riding on a station east of Taupo.
One of the horses bucked and kicked the rider of the following horse off her mount.
The woman who's horse bucked was also thrown to the ground but was uninjured in the fall.
The more seriously injured rider was taken to Rotorua hospital with a suspected
leg fracture.
