Woman airlifted to hospital after home injury

Save A local woman has been airlifted to hospital after falling down some stairs in her Murupara home.
The Rotorua based BayTrust Rescue helicopter was dispatched to Murupara at 1.30pm to take the 22-year-old woman to Rotorua Hospital.
Local St John and Fire Crews stabilised the woman and took her to
the local helipad.
The helicopter was used due to the nature of her injuries and the time to get back to a suitable hospital.
