Woman airlifted from Murupara

Save A 34 year-old Rotorua woman was airlifted to hospital from Murupara after suffering a serious medical event.
The BayTrust Rescue Helicopter was sent to Murupara at 6.00pm Thursday to assist St John paramedic's with the woman.
A local ambulance initially attended with assistance from a ambulance sent from Rotorua.
The
helicopter was requested as the medical event the woman was suffering from was determined to be of a series nature.
The rescue chopper landed in a local sports field and then airlifted the woman to Rotorua Hospital in a serious condition.
