If you're getting married then Hitched - the Rotorua Wedding and Special Events Show should be on your list of things to do.

The expo on Sunday is at the Rotorua Convention Centre and features 90 exhibitors with everything needed for a wedding.

However, a Wedding Workshop Masterclass involving some of the most highly sought-after professionals in the New Zealand wedding and special events scene, will take place before the expo starts.

The two-and-a-half-hour workshop will have eight presenters sharing tips, advice and insider secrets on how best to turn a wedding or special occasion into something, well, special.

The expo is open to all and those attending will also have the chance to win a honeymoon trip to Fiji. Cake tastings, drinks samples, live music, spot prizes and two fashion and bridal runway shows will also be on offer.

This year is also the Calico awards for a wedding-themed garment using calico as the core fabric. Judging will take place tomorrow but the entrants will be showcased at the first runway show and visitors can vote for the People's Choice award.

Exhibitors include photographers and videographers, bridalwear and fashion, cake and caterers, wedding stationery, florists, ceremony and reception venues, transport, travel, adventure activities, wedding celebrants, event planners and entertainers.
