The Rotorua Library is launching a series of informal wellness talks on Thursday evenings, starting tonight.
The series aims to make available sound advice about matters which concern all of us and support the drive towards a healthier community.
The series will begin tonight at5.30pm and run for about one hour.
Budget Advisory Services Rotorua will facilitate tonight's event on "Financial Wellness", offering tips on money and financial wellness.
The following week on Thursday March 21, the Healthy Homes Service will be advising on a range of options and tips to keep our homes warm and dry, especially over winter.
The third session on Thursday 28th March is "Worker wellness". Presenters Frances and Max Harré have written a book "Work, passion, power: strategies for a working life you will love". Whether it's job satisfaction or work-life balance, they can provide insights and advice to help make the best of things.
It is hoped that the wellness series will eventually cover many topics relevant to the community with helpful tips and straight-forward advice. Rotorua Library would also be pleased to hear from any organisations who may like to share their knowledge of wellness at one of our evening sessions.
