Internet sensation and coach, How to DAD, has staged his latest video in Rotorua giving people light hearted advice on how to travel with a baby.

Posted on Facebook on Monday afternoon, in less than 24 hours it had been viewed more than 3.2 million times, had more than 50,000 likes and been shared more than 30,000 times.

The video, which features a number of iconic Rotorua scenes, has been described as "gold" for the city.

Jordan Watson, the man behind How to DAD, describes his weekly videos as "DIY parenting advice that you will actually want to listen to".

Mr Watson has tackled topics such as how to show off to other dads, how to buy a present for Mother's Day, how to hold a baby and many other relevant issues dads face, all tackled with a classic Kiwi bloke sense of humour.

Mr Watson lives in Auckland and said he had the opportunity to film in Rotorua so he came up with the idea of how to travel with a baby.

"It was awesome - great weather, heaps to do and we got over the bad smell just as we were leaving to go home."

Rotorua Lakes Council Economic Growth portfolio leader Dave Donaldson said he thought the video was "gold".

"I've just shared it on my Facebook page. He has picked all the choice places in Rotorua ... he should be on the pay roll for Destination Rotorua whoever he is.

"The video is very clever and it's Kiwi gold for Rotorua," Mr Donaldson said.

How to DAD uploaded his first video to YouTube 10 months ago, how to hold a baby, which has since had over 2 million views.
