"Results may not have gone our way but we have still competed well in every match.
"Every week we have been getting better and adapting and I want to see our best performance on Saturday."
Wellington will be difficult opponents to beat - winning three of their five matches and needing a victory to stand any chance of making it into the semifinals.
"They will be a very big side, and strong across the board," said Webby.
"We will have to be enterprising in our play and must finish off strongly when chances come our way.
"I am very pleased with our set pieces so we must use this to our advantage and our forward pack dominates in games."
Webby said he had been happy with performances and described this year's Farah Palmer Cup as a "learning curve" for his young squad.
"We have a very young side and at times we have lacked composure at key times in matches," he said.
"This is something we can build on and I think it's about getting more self-belief.
"But this season has been about more than results. It's about getting the right culture in the squad.
"We have made great strides towards this. We want a professional feel with high aims for the future."
Local teams have been well represented in the squad and Webby picked out experienced Waikite lock Kaci James, who has captained the Volcanix this season, and young Rotoiti hooker Lily Florence as standouts.
"Kaci has been outstanding and has really brought her experience to the table," he said.
"And Lily has a lot of promise. She definitely has potential and if she keeps focused she has Black Ferns written all over her."
The 2016 Farah Palmer Cup semifinals will take place on September 24 and the final on October 1.
