UPDATE: Missing Taupo woman found safe

UPDATE: Police have found Janice Hansen safe and well in Taupo.

EARLIER: Police are urgently looking for Janice Hansen last seen in Kaimanawa St in Taupo this afternoon.

Police said in a statement that Ms Hansen suffers from dementia and may appear lost or confused.

She was last seen at 4pm wearing a red jersey, black pants and glasses.

She has been reported missing to police.

Any sightings please contact the Police on 111 ASAP.
