Two police staff seriously injured at Rotorua Police Station

Two police staff have been seriously injured at the Rotorua Police Station custody hub.

They were hurt after a

man became aggressive about 11.40am, a police spokeswoman said.

He remains in custody and the officers were taken to Rotorua Hospital.

Police said further information would be released when available.
