Two cars have crashed on Hamurana Rd, near Rotorua.

A police media spokeswoman said calls started coming it at 2.28pm.

"There was disorder following the crash," she said.

"The caller said it doesn't appear anyone is injured but there is damage to a fence."

Police are currently on the scene.

A Rotorua Daily Post staff member at the scene said the crash was on a corner shortly after Waiteti Rd.

"There is a car that's gone into the bank and the police are chatting to people," he said.
