They were chilled out. There's no other way to describe it.
Around 75 skiers and snowboarders participated in the annual Turoa Bikini Downhill race yesterday, raising more than $650 for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
As the name suggests, bikinis were the main attire, with men sporting shorts asthey took a run down the downhill slalom course.
"The bikini downhill ski event is a wonderful way to raise both money and awareness."
Donations were collected at the start of the course and throughout the day. Spot prizes were awarded to the best-dressed, fastest times and most runs down the course.
