Save The Rotorua Fire Brigade is at the scene of a truck fire at Waste Management Rotorua.
A truck fully loaded with rubbish is on fire at Waste Management in Rotorua.
A fire communications shift manager said Rotorua Fire Brigade were attempting to gain access to the rubbish to put out the fire.
"We received the call just before 3 pm.
"A large trailer fully loaded with
rubbish is on fire at the waste management site."
The Waste Management Rotorua Transfer Station is on the corner of Te Ngae Rd & Hamiora Pl.
