Truck crash blocks State Highway 5 near Taupo

A truck has crashed south-east of Taupo, blocking State Highway 5 this morning, police say.

No one has been seriously hurt in the crash on the Taupo-Napier highway, about 40km from Taupo.

However, significant delays are expected, police said just after 6am.

Motorists should avoid the area or delay their travel.
