A German tourist has been airlifted to hospital after breaking her leg in the Tongariro National Park.
The Taupo-based Greenlea Rescue Helicopter was called to rescue the 27-year-old woman this morning. She had broken her leg on a back country track. She was flown to Rotorua Hospital.
