Te Matarae i Orehu wins Te Arawa kapa haka competition

Te Matarae i Orehu on stage tonight.

Te Matarae i Orehu has been named the overall winner of the 2014 Te Arawa Kapa Haka Whakataetae a-Rohe.

Twenty-one groups performed in the two-day event with six teams chosen to represent the region at the national competition, Te Matatini in Christchurch next year.
