A large crowd attended the first Te Arawa Partnership Meet the Candidates hui.
Held at Te Papaiouru marae, Ohinemutu, on Sunday, it was an opportunity for iwi to hear the candidates who wanted to represent the tribe on decisions made in the Rotorua Lakes Council.
Voting packs have been postedto all members who are over the age of 18 and registered on the Te Arawa Lakes Trust register. People can still register until voting closing date on October 29.
