Taupō pedestrian hit at crossing: Motorcyclist charged with dangerous driving

Save A man has been charged after a pedestrian was hit by a motorcycle at a Taupō crossing this week.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries after Monday’s crash on Taharepa Rd, police said.
Senior Sergeant Andrew Livingstone said a 22-year-old man was due to appear in Taupō
District Court today.
He was charged with driving dangerously causing injury, failing to stop or ascertain injury, and driving a motor vehicle in a dangerous manner.
Livingstone thanked everyone who assisted with the investigation.
