Police investigating the death of Scott Henry are appealing for sightings of a dark-coloured 4WD in the Kinloch and Western Bays area of Taupo in the days surrounding Mr Henry's death.

Mr Henry, 48, was killed at his home in Whangamata Road, Kinloch, on Thursday, July 20.

Detective Senior
Sergeant John Wilson of Bay of Plenty CIB said police last week seized a vehicle which they believed was central to the investigation of Mr Henry's death.

This vehicle was being forensically examined, and the investigation team was also continuing to follow other strong lines of enquiry.

Anyone who saw a vehicle fitting the description above in the days surrounding Mr Henry's death, or who has other information which could assist the investigation, is asked to contact Taupo Police on 07 378 6060.

Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
