As technology has changed the way young people learn about sex, a talk in Rotorua tonight will touch on the impact this is having on children and young adults.

The talk is being held at John Paul College tonight and is about pornography and keeping your children safe.

The talk touches on the way technology has changed the way young people learn about sex.

As a result of technology more young people are being exposed to online pornography than ever and it is impacting how they think about sex, relationships, consent, other people and themselves.

The presentation will cover the impact that porn is having on young people, suggestions for helping young people navigate a pornography-saturated world, and ideas about how to encourage young people to make positive choices about porn, relationships and sex.
