Lumbercube Ltd granted consent for $1.3 million worth of internal operations on the site.

2015: Lumbercube starts operating.
December 2015: Noise complaints start to hit headlines with Lumbercube owners saying they are doing everything possible to solve the issue.
February 2016:
Facebook group Eastside Residents Action Group set up by those unhappy with the noise, total number of complaints at 420.
March 2016:
Lumbercube starts operating night shift, more than 650 noise complaints received by the council to date.
April 2016:
A protest outside the mill by those worried about noise. More than 1300 complaints received.
May 2016:
The company which owns Lumbercube - the Pedersen Group - bought out by Auckland-based investment company Maui Capital.
June 9, 2016: Rotorua Lakes Council releases agreed noise management plan with Lumbercube and says a decision whether to take further action will be made by July 21.
June 30, 2016: Pederson Group announces it will close down Lumbercube.
