Swamp Thing celebrate the launch of their new DVD and album with an outdoor gig at Okere Falls Store tonight.
The show, which will be in a covered outdoor setting, is not only a chance to help the band fundraise for their trip to the United States but it's alsoan opportunity to hear some new songs.
Michael Barker and Grant Haua head off to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in April for a month as artists in residence.
Before they leave, they're putting on a two-and-half-hour show for locals to enjoy. Their Let's Get Live DVD and album, which was recorded at Okere Falls Store in May, will be for sale so fans can make sure they keep getting their Swamp Thing fix while they're away.
"We've become known for having a high energy show," said Barker.
