- December 29/30/31 - Rhythm & Vines, Gisborne

Festival in the lead-up to New Year's Eve featuring three days of performances including Bastille, Broods and many more acts. Tickets range from single day to three-day passes, with or without camping options. Tickets from www.ticketmaster.co.nz.

- December 30 - Reggae by the River, Taupo

Featuring The Black Seeds, Katchafire and Sons of Zion at Riverside Park in Taupo from 4pm. Limited number of earlybird tickets left for $35, then $49 for general admission with VIP pricing available. Under-12s free. Available from www.eventfinder.co.nz.

- December 30 - Road to One Love, Rotorua

Summer tour featuring some of the artists performing at the February One Love Festival. At Kalah Bar, tickets from the venue.

- January 2 - Fat Freddy's Drop, Rotorua

All ages concert at Rotorua's Lakefront area featuring Fat Freddy's Drop, Meta and the Cornerstones and local band Strangely Arousing. From 5pm, early bird general admission $49, then $59. VIP tickets $95. Under-12s free. Tickets available from www.eventfinder.co.nz.

- January 8 - On the Lawn, Mount Maunganui

A beer wine and music festival featuring Tiki Taane, Tahuna Breaks, Goodshirt and The Hisptamatics. Tickets are $44.50 and can be purchased from http://www.iticket.co.nz.

Heart, Foreigner and Three Dog Night perform at the Taupo Ampitheatre. General ticket sales are $99 plus booking fee. Children 14 years and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Local artists perform from 11.30am with the main line-up starting at 1pm. Tickets available through www.ticketek.co.nz.

- January 24 - The Winery Tour 2015, Tauranga

Headlined by Dave Dobbyn and Don McGlashan, with Supergroove and Anika Moa. Gates open at 4pm, starts at 6pm. Tickets are $83.55, one child under the age of 12 free with each full paying adult. Go to www.thewinerytour.co.nz for tickets.

- January 26 - St Jerome's Laneway Festival, Auckland

Variety of local and international acts including Belle & Sebastian, Lykke Li, Royal Blood and FKA twigs. Tickets at $144.80 from www.auckland.lanewayfestival.com.

- February 6/7 - One Love Festival, Tauranga
