Sherie says the school used to hold the expo for just one day, but they got so many parents and friends of the school wanting to come that it was extended.
"It's really amazing. I think it's the best one we've had in my time here."
She says people who support the school community are invited, as are principals of host schools, as Kea St Specialist School has satellite classes in seven locations.
"We look to celebrate what the children do and show they can actually focus on something for quite a considerable amount of time."
She says the expo showcases the culture of the school and she respects the way the teachers have showcased the artwork.
Student Dayshai Warbrick, 19, says they did all sorts of different art, such as making birds and using the colours of the rainbow.
