We asked people at Rotorua Airport: What do you like about Rotorua Airport and what changes would you like to see?

It's nice and open and has really good flow from end to end. It's not as busy as other airports and has lots of parking. I think they could add some competition to the food and beverage offering and the automatic check-in kiosks are often out of order.

We do travel quite a bit, it's a very nice airport, much better than Tauranga. It's a shame it lost its international flights though. I wouldn't like to see it lose its flow, but the glare from the windows can get pretty bad.

It's a good idea, before the last upgrade it was a real mess, but it looks great now, there's plenty of space. But it could do with a Koru Lounge. Many regional airports have got them now and if you are waiting a long time they are a great place to relax.

I think it's a lovely regional airport. I can't believe how big the gift shop and cafe are. It's easy to find and get into as well. But it could use some USB ports or an area where you can charge your electronics.
