• 29.7 per cent could hold a conversation about everyday things in te reo Maori.
For people aged 15 years and over affiliating with Ngati Rangiteaorere and living in New Zealand on March 5, 2013:
• 44.7 per cent stated that they had never been a regular smoker.
• 73.9 per cent held a formal qualification.
• The median income was $23,500.
• 70.3 per cent living in main urban areas were in the labour force.
